At Neptune Solutions, we guarantee the quality of our workmanship on all excavation, drainage, and grading projects for five (5) years from the date of project completion. If a defect in our work causes a problem covered under this warranty, we will return to assess and correct it at no additional charge.
This warranty covers how the work was installed. It is not a guarantee that your property will never experience standing water, flooding, or erosion — that also depends on rainfall, surrounding grades, and any part of the site or drainage system we didn't install or modify.
What Is Covered
- Drainage system failures — French drains, catch basins, swales, and piping installed by Neptune Solutions that fail because of how they were installed — not the adequacy of a design or plan, and not the system's overall capacity.
- Grading defects — Slopes or grades we established that revert to improper drainage flow due to workmanship error rather than natural soil settling or external disturbance.
- Structural compaction issues — Settlement or subsidence in compacted areas that results from inadequate compaction by our crew.
- Pipe and fabric installation — Perforated pipe, geotextile fabric, and gravel fill we installed that fails due to installation error.
What Is Not Covered
This warranty covers our workmanship. The following are outside its scope:
- Acts of nature — Damage from extreme weather events, hurricanes, flooding beyond the design capacity of the system, or ground movement from drought or soil shrinkage.
- Third-party alterations — Changes, additions, or excavation by the property owner or another contractor that affects the work we completed.
- Routine maintenance — Clearing debris, leaves, or sediment from drain inlets, outlets, or channels over time. We recommend annual inspection of all drainage systems.
- Heavy equipment damage — Running heavy vehicles or machinery over drainage systems not designed to bear that load.
- Pre-existing conditions — Issues unrelated to the scope of work completed by Neptune Solutions, including any portion of a drainage system we didn't install or modify.
- Design or plan adequacy — Neptune Solutions builds to the lines, grades, and plans we're directed to build. We don't design or engineer drainage systems, and this warranty doesn't cover whether a design or plan was adequate.
- Rainfall beyond system capacity — Every drainage system is sized for a given amount of water. Standing water from rainfall or water volumes beyond that capacity, or water arriving from a neighboring property, isn't a workmanship defect.
- Changes after we finish — Grading, landscaping, or irrigation changes made after project completion, or a failure to keep basins and inlets clear of debris.
- Governmental or regulatory conditions — Any denial, delay, or condition imposed by a city, county, or other governmental authority.
How to Make a Warranty Claim

2We'll schedule a site visit — A member of our team will visit your property, typically within 5–7 business days, to assess the reported issue.

3We correct covered defects at no charge — If the issue falls within the warranty scope, we will schedule and complete the repair at no cost to you. Repair or replacement of the defective work is the remedy under this warranty.
